Doesn't come as a surprise to me. In GW, mesmer was always one of the main and surprisingly important part in our party. My brother rocks mesmer like nothing else. (he's also in love with Gwen, but that's another story.) Me? I'm a necro fiend. I think we're good to go with GW2. If only Arenanet would release it already, come and get my $60! Dammit.
(Thanks +Kelsie Y for the head up)
This is the awesomest shot my poor little camera can take. I'll count on a professional amateur astronomer for a proper shot.
People are still banging pots, pans and lighting fireworks. Knowing scientific facts doesn't mean you will stop being superstitious. You'd think the two are connected, but apparently not. People are exceptionally good at being in denial.
PS. There are 3 red dots in the sky, one is my camera's dead pixel, one is the moon, and the other is the passing plane. I'll let you guess which is which.
I like to imagine Leonardo Da Vinci as someone who always curious about everything, and has short attention span, not in a bad way, but in a way that because he was a thinker, by the time everything was thought out enough to start doing, he would already be thinking of something else. So he'd often become interested in something else besides the task at hand, much like Sasha.

First thing that came to my head when I arrived was that it's damn huge. The other ikea I had been to was the one in Renton, WA, which was dwarf by comparison. It was also a tad fancier, more like a mall instead of a warehouse.
I was a little disappointed tho, they aren't very creative with the showroom, compare to the one in Renton. Maybe because it's a lot bigger and they just didn't know how to use the space effectively. The store itself has two floors. Top floor is mostly just showrooms, while the ground floor is all the stuff you can buy, plus the warehouse itself. Next time I'll just go straight to ground floor. Save myself from killing my legs.
Another disappointment is that everything I wanted is out of stock. I hardly got anything I planned to buy. And that's after I actually checked stock online beforehand. You'd think they were giving things away for free or something. Although it ended up being a good thing for me, as I planned to spend about $150 on desk, but ended up spending only $60 on a much awesomer configuration instead.
Steam is doing a giveaway. Each day, 10 lucky SOB will get 10 free games from their wishlist. So I use this opportunity to clean up my steam wishlist. (I use it for bookmark more than anything, so it was a bit of a mess.) Here's my top 10 DO WANT list, along with price and the comfortable price I'd pay.
0. Game name (Retail Price) (Price I'd pay.)
1. Skyrim ($59.99) ($30)
2. Witcher 2 ($49.99) ($20)
3. Assassin's Creed: Revelations ($49.99) ($10)
4. Saints Row: The Third ($49.99) ($20)
5. Deus Ex: Human Revolution ($49.99) ($10)
6. The lord of the Rings: War of the North ($49.99) ($10)
7. DMC3: special edition ($19.99) ($5)
8. DMC4 ($19.99) ($5)
9. Dragon Age: Origins ($29.99) ($5)
10. Last Remnant ($39.99) ($5)
The price I'd play isn't what I think the game worths as a whole, but the price for how much gameplay I imagine I'd get from the game. Some games I have already played but would love to have on steam too. Some games I'm just curious about, not sure if I'll enjoy playing. Some games rely heavily on multiplayers which I don't use. Hence the price. Also, I'm a cheapskate.
