Black and White//brushpen lurves

I do love pentel color brush pen (the cheap 5$ one), but biggest grief about it is that, it has totally unsteady ink flow, it’s either too much or too little. I spent most of my inking time working off excessive ink, usually it was just mindless scratching, but sometimes it gets a bit more elaborated.

in this one, you can see how the ink started with new pen, the lighter color line (the face area) was a result from ink mixed with oil in the tip of new pen, it takes a while to work that off, ink from first few strokes usually too diluted to use, need to work that off until the stroke looks reasonably black :3what’s better thing to work off excessive ink with than bishie? :D
